AI Credits
AI credits power Upsie, the AI assistant that helps you build and improve your projects.
Each AI interaction consumes credits based on its complexity. Monitor your usage and remaining balance from the Plan page in your dashboard.
Plans and AI Credits
AI credits expire after 2 months (1 month on the Free plan). Credits are used oldest-first.
Free Plan
The Free plan includes a limited number of AI credits to get you started. A daily usage limit applies to plan credits to ensure fair access.
Paid Plans
Paid plans include a higher allocation of AI credits, renewed monthly.
Credit Packs
You can purchase additional credit packs anytime from your Plan page.
Auto-purchase
To never run out of credits, enable auto-purchase from the Plan page: when your balance reaches 0, a credit pack is automatically bought using your default payment method.
Auto-purchase requires a default payment method — add one from the Billing page. Only the workspace Owner can enable it.
Using your own LLM account
If you subscribed with the Use my LLM account option (BYOK), AI usage is billed directly by your LLM provider and Upstart AI credits are disabled.
