Organization
TL;DR
An organization is a billing account shared by a team. It holds the subscription, AI credits and payment methods, and can own multiple workspaces.
An organization lets a company or a team centralize billing instead of tying it to a single personal account:
- The organization holds the plan subscription, AI credits and payment methods.
- The organization can own one or more Workspaces, depending on its plan.
- Organization admins manage billing and are Owners of the organization's workspaces.
Organizations are available on Business plan.
Organizations and workspaces
Day-to-day collaboration happens in workspaces, not in the organization itself: you invite teammates as workspace members (admin or editor), and they get access to the workspace's projects without needing any role in the organization.
The organization is only the billing entity behind its workspaces — its plan and AI credits apply to all projects in the workspaces it owns. See Workspaces to learn how to invite members and manage roles.
