Getting Started

To create your first project, navigate to the Upstart home page and enter a descriptive prompt outlining the type of project you wish to create.

The more detailed and specific your prompt, the better our AI can understand your requirements and generate an appropriate design that meets your needs.

For example, you might enter a prompt like: "Create a modern portfolio website for a freelance graphic designer, featuring a homepage with an introduction, a gallery of work, an about page, and a contact form."

If you haven't already done so, create an account to save and manage your projects. Register using your email address or sign up conveniently with your Google account.

A default workspace is automatically created for you — this is where your projects live, and you can later share it with teammates.

Our AI assistant, Upsie 🤖, will now create a new project based on your prompt. This process typically takes a few moments to complete.

Upsie will generate pages, design elements, and content tailored to your specifications. You can monitor the progress through the interface, which provides real-time updates on the generation progress.

Upsie may also ask you follow-up questions to clarify your requirements and ensure the generated project aligns with your vision.

Once your project is ready, you'll be automatically redirected to the Upstart editor, where you can review and further customize your new website.

Within the Upstart editor, you have full control to customize your project.

You can also interact with our AI assistant to implement additional changes on design, layout or text. It can also incorporate new features into your project.

When you're happy with your project, publish it with a single click.

Simply click the Publish button located within the editor interface.

Your project will be deployed on a dedicated Upstart domain.
