Assets

TL;DR

Each project has an asset library for its images and files. Upload your own, organize them in folders, or generate new images with AI.

Open the asset library from your project's dashboard, under Assets. Assets uploaded here can be used anywhere in your project.

Browsing and organizing

  • Upload files from your computer.
  • Create folders to keep your library organized, and delete the ones you no longer need.
  • Search assets by name, and sort them by name or upload date.
  • Preview images in a gallery view — use the arrow keys to navigate between them.
  • Delete assets you no longer use.

Generating images with AI

Click Generate image in the asset library to create images from a text description. You can also simply ask Upsie to generate images while building your project.

Describe the image

Be specific about the subject, style, colors and composition. For example: "A cozy coffee shop interior with warm lighting, photorealistic".

Choose the format

Pick an aspect ratio — Widescreen (16:9), Square (1:1), Portrait (3:4), Landscape (4:3) or Vertical (9:16) — and optionally enable High resolution for a larger image.

Generate

The generated image is saved directly into your asset library, ready to use in your project.

Image generation consumes AI credits — high resolution uses more. A daily generation limit applies. Image generation is not available when using your own LLM account (BYOK).

Exporting your assets

You can export all of a project's assets as a single archive from the project settings in your dashboard. The export is prepared in the background; once ready, a download link is available for 24 hours.
