Version history
Every change to your project is saved as a version. Preview any past version safely, name important milestones, and restore a version whenever you need — nothing is ever lost.
Browsing versions
Click the history button in the editor toolbar to open the version list, from newest to oldest.
By default the list shows your named versions. On Pro plans and above, you can tick Show all versions to browse every saved change, not just the named ones.
Naming a version
Use the tag button (next to the history button) to give the current version a name — for example before-redesign. Named versions act as checkpoints that are easy to find later.
Naming versions is available on paid plans.
Previewing a version
Select a version in the list to preview it. The editor switches to a read-only view of that version — your live project is untouched, and editing and the chat are locked while you look around.
From the preview banner you can:
- Restore this version — make it the new current version.
- Back to latest — leave the preview and return to your live version.
Restoring a version
Restoring is non-destructive: the restored version becomes your new starting point, and the version you were on is automatically saved in the history (with an automatic name), so you can always go back.
Restoring changes your project's content in the editor, but does not publish anything: your live published project stays as-is until you publish again.
